The Friends of Baker Park holds an annual General Membership Meeting in the spring at the Talley Recreation Center (Old Armory). We typically have a speaker to present something related to Baker Park. We also hold elections for new Board members. |

Each spring, in late May/early June, the Friends of Baker Park does a planting project to either clean up an existing bed or plant a new area with flowers and shrubs. |

Usually held the first Saturday of December, we decorate the lamp posts in Room 1 (the area between Bentz St. and College Ave.) with pine roping and ribbons. |
